What is the difference between CACES 1A and 1B?

How many questions are there to prepare for CACES 1A?
Cariprep has 267 questions for category 1A: the ones common to every category plus those specific to these trucks. On test day, the theory test has 100 questions.
Is the theory test the same for every category?
Yes. The R489 theory test is the same for every category: 100 questions across 4 themes. You need at least 70/100 and half the points in each theme. The categories differ mainly in the practical test.
